Behringer Xenyx 802 Mixer -- Guaranteed Lowest Price
Introducing Behringer Xenyx 802...The UB mixer series is certainly one of the most popular mixer out there and with good reason (Just a note: It's sold over a million units). Many musicians will tell you that you'll be pleasantly surprised at what this little machine can do. But with Xenyx, expect even much more..."The XENYX 802 has 8 inputs and a FX Send control for each channel. Additionally, assignable CD/tape inputs have been incorporated for routing flexibility. The new XENYX Mic Preamp matches the sound quality, transparency, headroom and even the dynamic range of boutique-style, stand-alone mic preamps. Neo-classic British EQ brings back the warmth and musicality of those '60s and '70s mega-console desks that made music history..." To read more on its specs, click here. Pure Opinion...It has good mic pres that provide clean sound -- Pretty quiet for a mixer at this price range. It's a good fit for vocal recording. You'll like the main mix outs, phone out and control room out. With these you can easily monitor sound. But, yes, you'll sometimes want a few more features (But asking for more would definitely be unfair considering what's already added at that price -- Click here to see low price). This one is well built and would last a few years -- Unless you use it for other stuff other than what it was meant for. For the price, it's certainly a great deal. Yes, everyone would want some more. But there's definitely NO way you'll get $1,000 value on a sub-$100 mixer -- No matter how good it is. However, you'll need some experience to make the most of a big mixer. So, in my humble opinion, it's a good place to start. When your expertise and needs increase, you can step up. But for starters, this is a very good one. Read reviews from people who own a Behringer Xenyx 802 here. |
